What we need from you
- Your website address.
- A login for your current hosting, or permission to ask your current host for a copy.
- Access to where your domain is registered, so we can point it to Zopi when we’re ready. If you’re not sure where that is, we’ll find out.
What happens
- We copy your website, its files and its database into its own space on Zopi’s servers.
- We test it there, before anyone sees it.
- We switch your domain over. Visitors go to the new copy within a few hours; most notice nothing.
- Your old hosting stays as it is for a little while, in case it’s needed. Cancel it once we’ve confirmed everything is moved.
Email is separate from your website: we’ll check where yours is handled so it carries on working.
