- Check the printer is on and its screen shows no error: paper, toner, a paper jam or an open tray.
- Check you’ve chosen the right printer when you print. Your computer might be sending it somewhere else.
- Turn the printer off, wait ten seconds and turn it on again. Let it finish starting up.
- Restart your computer.
- Clear stuck jobs: in Windows, go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners, choose the printer, then Open print queue, and cancel anything stuck. Then try printing again.
Is it just you?
If nobody can print, it’s probably the printer or the network. If only you can’t, it’s probably your computer.
Still not printing? Raise a request with the printer’s name and any message on its screen.
