Updates fix security holes, so they matter. If Zopi looks after your computers, we manage updates for you, but your computer still needs to restart to finish them.
When it asks to restart
- Restart when it suits you that day, but do restart: updates waiting to finish can make a computer slow or odd.
- Save your work first, then choose Start → Power → Update and restart.
- Don’t turn it off while it says Working on updates. It can take a while: leave it plugged in.
Check for updates yourself
Go to Settings → Windows Update and choose Check for updates.
Stuck on an update?
If it’s been on the same percentage for over an hour, raise a request or call us on 0204 502 1288 before you turn it off.
