Scam emails often look like a delivery note, an invoice, a shared document or a message from your bank or Microsoft.
Signs it isn’t real
- It’s urgent, or asks you to sign in, pay or change bank details.
- The sender’s address doesn’t quite match who it says it’s from.
- The link goes somewhere unexpected: hover over it, without clicking, to see where.
What to do
- Don’t click any links or open attachments.
- Don’t reply.
- Forward it to us with a request in the portal, or use Report in Outlook if you have it, then delete it.

Someone asking to change bank details for a payment? Always check with them on a phone number you already have, never one from the email.
