You can change what callers hear when you can’t answer, at any time, in the client portal.
Record or upload a greeting
- In the portal, go to Voicemail and choose the Greetings tab.
- Under Add a greeting, choose Record or upload.
- Give it a name, then press ● Record and speak your greeting. Press ■ Stop recording when you’re done. Or choose Upload a file (WAV or MP3, up to 3 minutes).
- Press Save greeting.
- Find it in the list and press Use this. The greeting in use has an In use label.
Have it read out for you
If you’d rather not record your own voice, choose Type it instead, write what callers should hear, pick a Voice, tick Use it straight away and press Create greeting.
Good to know
- Press ▶ Play to hear any greeting before you use it.
- Going away? The I’m going on holiday option on My phone can switch to an away greeting for you and switch back on the day you return.
- Your voicemail PIN can’t be changed in the portal. If you need it changed, raise a request and we’ll do it for you.
