Close the phones early, or for a bank holiday

You can close the phones straight away, set your normal opening hours, and add days you’re closed. These need Manage numbers access in the portal.

Close now

1. In the client portal, go to Opening hours (under Phone set-up).
2. Press Close now… and choose For an hour, Until 9am tomorrow, or a date and time.
3. Press Close now.

To open again early, press Reopen now. You’ll also find Close the phones… under Quick jobs on the portal’s Home page.

Bank holidays and closed dates

1. On Opening hours, find the Closed dates card.
2. Under Bank holidays, choose to close on bank holidays (or stay open).
3. To add another day, fill in What for, From and To, press Add, then Save closed dates.

Where calls go when you’re closed

On the Where your numbers ring card, choose for each number whether closed calls go to Voicemail, Another extension or A phone number, then press Save on that row.
